What To Do With Your Tax Bill!
Property tax bills have been mailed throughout Florida. If you have not received your 2006 bill, contact your local Tax Collector and make sure they have the correct address.
And, because payment in November means a four percent (4%) discount, we believe paying in November is prudent. If you have a Value Adjustment Board petition pending, pay in November anyway, if you can, to be assured of the discount. If your assessment is reduced through the appeal, the county will refund the overage to you.
If your taxes are held in escrow by a lender - most pay in November as well to ensure you are paying the lowest sum. If you have any questions, contact CPS.
Do you want to lower your property taxes? Ad valorem taxes are based upon valuation methods, modified by state laws and regulations. CPS knows due process procedures and value applications should be applied to your real and tangible taxes. If you have a question, or need professional services, for a free consultation, contact CPS at 1-305-372-9200 in South Florida, 1-352-245-7441 in Central Florida, or email us at cps1@flash.net.
